One World...One Dream...One Gas Mask
Whoa! One year away and Jumpin Jacques Rogge, president of the International Olympic Committee, goes off the talking points! He tells a CNN interviewer Wednesday morning that some events next year could be postponed if the air quality is too poor in Beijing.
There is, of course, next to no chance this will happen. There won't be a car or a pollution spewing factory allowed to operate within 100 miles of Beijing for weeks in advance of the games next year.
Still, how embarrassing these comments are for Beijing, which is hawking an "open, green, and humane Olympics.” Ugh.
