The Great Firewall: Breaking into Prison
This is somewhat counterintutitve but clever. A group in Hong Kong have developed a Firefox addon that let's you experience what it's like to surf the net inside China's Great Firewall. The folks at Chinachanel.com apparently feel that it's important for outsiders to find out just how carefully controlled the Chinese web experience is. Their add on (download here) places you by proxy inside the Great Firewall. So go ahead. Downlaod it and then type in "Falungong" or "Free Tibet" into google and see what happens.

It is funny there are some dump-headed who would develope this kind of stupid stuff and more funny being considered "clever" by some more dump-headed people:
1. it is complete NAIVE to think anything can be blocked completely through a firewall.
2. Like bacteria and antibiotics, bacteria always changing to escape being smashed to dust. So do some groups.
3. Considering the jokey results of Microsoft anti piracy, the firewall just less than a layer of paper if China people WANT to break it.
4. China people is NOT geting what they know only from Internet. China people are all around the whole world. Much more widely than your walnut-sized brain can imagine. it is even not surprising if they know your head just stamped by a donkey, which you kept as a secret.SO the thing is: They do NOT care, or even happy those garbage being blocked to get a clean view. HoHO!

You realize self censorship is probably one of the most insidious ways to stop someone from expressing themselves. Don't speak out against slavery because its not polite. Don't talk about women right because proper women shouldn't concern themselves with these things. Believe the free market will correct itself because complaining about it can cause economical collapse. Remember we were always at war with Oceania.

By foreigners, for foreigners, a tool whose main effect will be to frustrate you.

Mr. philippe: the communist revolution actually brought more rights to women, such as the out-dated practice of foot binding (started by the Mongols) as well as arranged-marriage in the more developed areas.
Mr. mingming2: we DO care about these things. That's why we're here, to make sure foreigners care about the RIGHT things, instead of just slandering China and believing in lies.

"...make sure foreigners care about the RIGHT things, instead of just slandering China and believing in lies..."
those beasts here wouldt care right things, they only care themselves and anything that disgust China. and they slander China and believe in lies not because no one telling them the truth, instead they just love lies from which they can benifit in any way.
No talk to beasts. Stick is the only way that works for them. -

Mr. mingming2: then why are we here? Might as well ignore them if there is no chance to convince them otherwise.
I'm here because I think whatever a slim chance there is to change even one ignorant gweilo's opinion, is worth my time typing up these responses.
Because NO ONE is telling them the truth, I take it upon MY duty to tell exactly that.

MR. ricelee22,
Yes you are right. For those foreigners who don't know the truth, we need to let them know. That is one thing. For those who is distorting the truth or just telling the lies, we need to prove what they are saying here is wrong, and uncover the evil purpose and motivation behind that. We need do both way I think.
