TheLie Lamer treat tibet like slaves.

2
The CCP treats all Chinese, whether in Tibet or not, like slaves.
-
3
If the master of slaves could run down to the earthquake area to save the victims like the CCP does, indeed the slaves are very well treated then.

Clearly Tibetans don't like the Chinese version of "freedom". I am ashamed of all the Chinese commenting here. There response is very juvenile such as calling the Dalai Lama a "liar."

Of course!! you would not consider mentioning that David Miliband posted of the Foreign Office website the Britain considers Tibet as part of China.
"Speaking to journalists in Beijing on Saturday, the former governor of Hong Kong, Chris Patten, said the move to abolish what he called a "quaint eccentricity" in British policy was long overdue. He praised Mr. Miliband for bringing the UK into line with the rest of the world, including the Dalai Lama, in recognizing China's sovereignty in Tibet. " -

Jackson has hit the nail on the head. But we must all hope that if the torch is passed on to younger tibetans, the movement never becomes violent. Though if negotiation continues to be frustrating as it currently is, this can't be written off as a possibility: China should bare this in mind, and really should make efforts to ensure the protection of tibetan language and culture.

"New Chinese patriots" are those mainland Chinese who were born after 1980s. During such period, the Chinese government have shift their focus on the economy. The society was enjoying a great economic growth since 1900. It is really important to notice, it is the first time for Chinese average citizens having the rights to enjoy a stable and health economy.(In the early 1900, the China was still a feudal society. Before the CCP announces the republic of China, China has been suffered from an invasion from Japan- 2nd world war, and a civic war.) In a word, people in early 1900 was suffered.
From 1980 to now, we can not deny the fact that, the communism party have improved people's life. Most Chinese form the middle classes are thankful for the party providing a great stable and blooming economic environment.
More importantly, the Olympic game was the first time holed in China. People are glad and proud. However, the whole Dalai Lama/Tibet incident just happened right before the game. It brought a series of criticizes from the world. Someones even proposed boycott the Beijing Olympic game. Major Chinese were angry about the Dalai Lama polluting the good images and hope.

Is Dalier really a spiritual leader?
Certainly not!
He is simply a well-trained by CIA and later other western NGOs sale person whose job is to sell his McDonaldized "spirit" to his simple and naive(excuse me)westen audients.
His recent claim of using Tibetan Buddhism to combat "greed" is simply another proof of how professional a sales person he may be... yet how terrible a spiritual leader he actually is ...
Is he really disappointed about the dialogue with China?
He certainly isn't.
He is disappointed about the success of the Beijing Games, which symbolizes the failure of his well ochestrated anti-China "peaceful" movements before the Games.
He is a lier! And a looser!

The Dalai Lama is so contradictory, isn't he? If he has truly 'given up', then he would not have continue his sling of jabs like 'death sentence in Tibet' under China, where everyone's life expectancy rose by around 20-30 years and vast improvements in infrastructures, as well as special minority benefits for Tibetans including free education.
If that is a death sentence, everyone would be murderers under his rule.
On a related note, he's no longer in charge. He's never been in charge since the CIA took his supporters away from him and trained them to be soldiers. Now, as he reliquish his 'official' authority as leader of the exiles, the power to be split amongst the tibetan ruling elites, not the people.
So sad, that even in his decline he represents a false hope, and commericalised as a spiritual idol for the westerners who had no spirit.
