It is not hard to see how the relationship changing delicately between China and Taiwan. Although this are some resistances from the Taiwan society, we cannot deny the advance is historical. For my opinion, the new political atmosphere between Taiwan Strait is a win-win situation to the world. For Taiwan, it is really necessary to be more economically open and connect to the mainland China. Even thought, the recent growing GDP of China has drop to 9%, it is still a stable, developing and dependable economy while the western economy was trapped in the financial crisis. For China, the government really has a tough year in 2008.(earthquake, snowstorm, Tibet and the economic slowdown). A relatively stable relationship in Taiwan Strait will help the government concentrate the other affairs.
