Big Underpants, The Song

Because the China Blog will never tire in our dogged pursuit of this story, here's a link to a video imploring China Central Television to embrace the "inelegant" nickname of its new headquarters, "Big Underpants." (Or, if you're easily offended, "Big Shorts.") The song, sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells," is frankly terrible; it's the message that counts. We can only hope a full-length musical is next.

    Why "Jingle Bell", a decadent western jingle. It should be sung to the tune of more patriot Chinese tunes, at least the Chinese anthem, or the Internationale.

    I am glad you did not lost interest in this. So you showed it clear again what your guys are pursuing about China. Nice job. And I have to say, “big shorts” is wrong again. Because “big “ is not needed here.and by the way, do you often sway your standpoints because others are offended?
