I wonder why the Chinese obsession of being "starred" by a French tire maker. When there wasn't any Chinese restaurant starred. The Chinese complained. When there are Chinese restaurants starred, they complain they weren't starred by Chinese.

There seems to be great interest of Chinese being appointed by foreign governments too, especially the rotten US government which all Chinese hate. Whenever there is a person with a Chinese sounding name appointed to be part of the rotten evil empire, the Chinese talk about it as it it was a great honor. Like the recent appointments in the Obama administration. I thought being appointed to such corrupt organization should be considered an insult. And so is being starred by a French tire maker.
