Here's my take on whether China is really facing social upheaval and possible political disintegration if the economic picture continues to darken.

    There is no fear of any unrest from this down turn in economy in China. China will continue to be harmonized and stable.

    As long as the PLA remain obedient to its political masters, all will be well. All CCP need to do is to keep all the CCP members and PLA well fed, comfortable and taken care of, and to ensure that they will continue to enjoy the great harvest from the general public they were promised when they join the party or the army.

    I could have read the whole article if there weren't too many nonsenses quoted from the jackal. How the "Li" "muddle" into the "Washington's Brookings Institute"?

    We don't fear the poverty and the temporary unrest, if the "shock treatment" can end this putrid regime.
