Can China Save the World?

It appears that the colossal stimulus package begins to show sign of working in China. Beijing's bend on promoting consumption in the gigantic domestic market is certainly bearing fruit.

Whether China can save the world or not would be too premature to predict. But one thing for sure, the Americans continue to depend on the Chinese to buy their bonds. Otherwise, the US economy can become real ugly.

While China is encouraging its consumers to spend more, but I think such habits take time to evolve.

Can China save the world in the near term? I think it will continue to help prop up the U.S. economy by continuing to lend to the U.S. government. China will help drag other developing countries along - especially those feeding commodities to China. But Chinese consumer habit is not going to change fast enough to usurp the negative or zero growth around the world.

In the long run, China's share of the world GDP is clearly going to be way bigger than 6-7%. In 20-50 years, China will probably match the U.S. in terms of relative economic weight and influence around the world.

If you think those who rioted in Xinjiang were humans and are your heroes then let me tell you how do I feel about them. Those who bashed, stabbed, beheaded, stoned, burned innocent Hans to death and injured more than one thousand people on Urumqi street were blood thirsty animals deserved to be hanged. I am not completely Han.

There are plenty of evidence ancient Hans carved into stones proving to whom the land belongs. Also thanks to the invention of ancient Hans, printing and paper making helps China keep a record of her history and territory. When you claim "their land" makes sure you are informed about who is the "they".

When you talk about discrimination in China makes sure you know which ethnic is the most discriminated against. Which ethnic is subjected to one child policy? Which ethnic never get protective job quota? It is Hans. 90% of Chinese population is Hans. All ethnic minority students get extra marks for their National College Entrance test results because they come from a minority background and may not speak mandarin well.

Due to China's long and complicated history, there are separatists in this country. They now found perfect time to bring out their agenda. The socienty is freer and this gives them the chance to mobilise. (They could not do much during culture revolution). They found the fuel---some people from minority background are not prepared enough to follow the fast pace of China's development and therefore lagging behind. Of course the political wing of the separatist group are smarter, they won't singing out "independence" because they know they are not going to get supported by the world so instead they sing out "meaningful autonomy" which sounds quite reasonable. At the same time the militant wing of the separatists group are busy doing the dirty work. They managed to kill as many Hans as possible to trigger a response from the Chinese government (a response that any reasonable government would have). Then they exagerate the imprisoned numbers and the numbers excuted by the Chinese government to fuel a new round of hatred. This hatred will fertilise the separatist's seed very well. Those whom were caught, imprisoned, excuted by Chinese government were footsoldiers to be sacrificed to help someone to become the king or queen of "Eastern Turkistan" or even to materialise a greater "Turkistan" dream. Even the motherland of uighurs where they originally came from was getting excited.The political wing is safe and well waiting to taste the fruit of their dirty work if it bears any. The ordinary people's life? The innocent people whom were bashed, burned, stoned, stabbed and beheaded? They are nothing compare to some "people"'s ambition.

标题: 美元还能撑多久？人民币是压垮美元的最后一根稻草

　　纪硕鸣周东华/刚刚在意大利结束的新一轮G8峰会，继中国、俄罗斯及印度等发展中国家后，法国及德国领导人亦加入有关美元储备货币地位的争论，法国总统萨科齐在 G8的记者会上呼吁改革全球货币体系，因为现时已不合时宜，美元未来不会是唯一储备货币．德国总理默克尔认为，欧元可作为美元以外的辅助性储备货币．百年一遇的金融危机中，挑战美元霸权的话题一再被提起．

　　上海辞书出版社新出版了我们俩人合著的《终结美元》一书，提出了美元究竟还能撑多久的质疑，书中详尽叙述美元的兴衰，以及国际社会要求终结美元霸权和对金融新秩序的呼唤．其实，问题提出本身就已反映出人们对美元信用的怀疑，这既是对当下金融危机的反思；也是对战后60年美元霸权的拷问；更是对现有美元资产前景的担忧。《终结美元》提醒，人民币走出去，让美元回家是个长期的过程，美国不会就此束手，依赖其强大的军事力量，美国不惜为捍卫美元霸权而战．但不管怎么说，美元开始弱势，遭遇各方挑战将是趋势．

　　近来就有不少中国普通民众纷纷将存在银行的美元兑换成人民币或其它货币予以储藏。2007年，我们一位从大洋彼岸“海归“的朋友，悄悄地将海外拼搏多年积攒的数百万美元或兑换成人民币或投资中国一线城市的房产。问其原由，他只是诡异地一笑，答曰：看二年再说！现在二年过去了，当年投资的中国房产增值了近 30%；而兑换的人民币也大幅增值了约13%(由1美元兑7.8元人民币至1美元兑6.8元人民币)。为此，我们不得不佩服他的投资理念与操作思路。早些年人们普遍看好美元，将其作为国际硬通货长握在手，以抵御随时可能出现的金融与经济危机。美元作为全球“一股独大”的主导货币，曾经与黄金比肩，被昵称为“美金”。

　　可2008年金融海啸的滔天巨浪突袭全球，美国双“赤字”扩大，各国央行纷纷减持美元资产，促使美元汇率折返下行，美元兑主要货币的汇率走弱渐成定势。一年内，美元兑日元由1美元兑110日元跌至87日元；其余主要货币殴元、英镑、人民币等都出现阶段性震荡波动呈现出对美元逐渐走强的态势。相应地国际大宗商品价格也随着美元的贬值而趋涨，美国企业大批倒闭，华尔街转瞬一片萧瑟败落。

　　2007年10月16日，沪市A股大盘指数攀至6124点，成为中国股市神话般的里程碑。同年，中国GDP增长超过11%，CPI指数不到4.8%。此前五月，极富前瞻性的《经济学人》杂志甚至将中国国宝大熊猫如金刚般摆上帝国大厦。然而，仅一年后，中国主要经济指数全线告急，“双破8”——CPI增速向上攻破8%，GDP增速向下击穿8%。沪市A股指数随之快速滑落，一路深跌至1664.93点，跌幅更达当期世界主要经济体之最。2008年第四季度工业产值增幅掉头下滑至6%，出口贸易大幅萎缩，东部沿海外向型中小企业纷纷歇业，仅中国最大玩具制造厂东莞合俊的突然倒闭，就直接导致6000多民工人失业。居民生活开支日渐上升，上半年CPI单月增幅一度达到8.7%，为十二年来新高。

　　更令人担忧的是，突然爆发的危机景象绝非仅仅发生在中国。环顾全球，世界主要发达国家风声鹤唳，法国罢工游行频发，英国08年底开始增发货币。美国作为危机策源地，2008年雷曼兄弟、美林等声名赫赫的金融巨头宣告破产，AIG摇摇欲坠，高盛、大摩见风使舵，试图爬出投行泥沼，转投商业银行怀抱。2009 年其失业率更是居高不下，5月份升至9.4%，百年老店“通用汽车”更是举步维艰，被迫进入破产程序。中小国家处境更为险恶，冰岛、巴基斯坦与韩国相继资不抵债，步入国家破产的黑色幽默。转眼间，繁荣变为萧条，正常的经济秩序陷入无法整治的混乱，金融海啸如灭顶般荡涤着世界经济。

　　面对此情此景，人们不禁要问，这究竟谁是罪魁祸首？危机来自何处又将何去何从？一系列疑问，终于使世人看清，处在暴风眼中心美国的真相：美元，罪责难逃、罪在不赦！ 2008年，美国政府为拯救摇摇欲坠的华尔街金融大厦，美联储开动印钞机，投放巨额资金希冀扭转危机局面。由此，人们在切身感受金融风暴侵袭的同时开始担忧美元资产的前景。于是，美元究竟还能撑多久？成了全球普遍关注的问题。

　　美元经历了因美国强盛代替英镑的霸主地位走上历史舞台，但也因为军事以及经济的扩张导致美元霸权地位由盛转衰。二次世界大战以后，在战争中发了财的美国，以经济强势挤走了英国，用美元替代英镑取得国际主导货币的地位，至今60多年。这60年，美元独步世界金融舞台，作为主导世界的货币，有合理的辉煌，也有卑劣的行经。当时欧洲被战争拖垮，全球商品差不多一半由美国制造，贸易量占了全球贸易的约1/3，美国经济一枝独秀。

　　但美元在维护全球经济正常化中发挥作用只有短短的16年时间。此后，美元便以全球霸主的身份玩弄并控制着世界经济。从上世纪60年代开始，美元连续暴发七次危机。至1971年8月，时任美国总统尼克松为维护美国利益，突然宣告“布雷顿森林体系”终结。美国背信弃义，切断了美元与黄金的联系，黄金作为最诚实的“货币”被美国逐出了世界金融舞台。美元由此进入霸权时代！历史上对纸币有约束力的只有黄金，黄金失去约束力，纸币就是“废纸”一张。既然是“废纸”便可为我所需，为我所用，甚至可以无节制的乱发，通货膨胀由此开始。任何主权货币作为世界储备货币，客观上都做不到自觉自律，道义的力量在物质利益面前总显得那么苍白无力。因此，当国内经济危机发生时，其政府必然采用加印钞票的防疫方式，将国内危机转向它国甚至世界。

　　美元霸权的核心就是独步世界，肆意狂为，不惜损人利己。美元近60年的历史就是一部霸权史。全世界都为防通胀胆颤心惊，惟美国没有如此担忧。用它国的商品，用未来的钱尽情地消费成为美国式的时髦与梦魇。更有甚者，美国借助美元霸权可以任意操控别国的政治和经济，哪国经济发展了，持有的美元量增加了，美国就极力予以征服。当年欧洲持有1/3的美国货币发行量，美元资产总量高达678亿，而美国拥有的黄金储备仅102亿，欧洲幻想以美元换黄金的梦不得不破灭，只能眼眼睁睁看着自身利益被美国侵吞。整个欧洲经济由此被美国捆绑，如抛售美元，美元则贬值，大家一起沉落。日本也曾经历了战后的经济大发展，1980年代甚至有日本人疯狂而幼稚地想买下美国的加洲。但美国一纸“广场协议”，迫使日元升值，吹起资产泡沫，再将泡沫挤暴，逼使日本经济进入长期衰退，至今仍缓不过气来。如今，中国持有近二万亿美元的外汇储备，美国又把打击对象瞄准了中国。如同当年对付日本那样，逼使中国推高人民币汇率，形成“中国资产泡沫”，并通过大量推销美国国债，捆绑中国经济，利用美元霸权的独特威慑力，捣跨中国经济。美国新领导人奥巴马上台即公开向中国施压，新任财长盖特纳就任伊始便放言，奥巴马相信中国“操控”货币汇率。他又说，奥巴马誓言使用所有的积极外交途径，寻求改变中国在人民币汇率上的做法。此言一出即刻引发中美间新一轮风波。美国总统奥巴马事后致电中国国家主席胡锦涛，试图平息风波。

　　但一波未平，一波又起，美国再炒作中国军事威胁论，中情局开出今年的美国十大安全威胁名单，中国赫然和伊朗、朝鲜等一同名列其中，排在第九位。中情局指出，中国是一个正在崛起的超级大国，不但具军事威胁，经济的影响力更巨大。言下之意，中国不仅具军事威胁，还具经济威胁。有鉴于此，作为国际货币，全球金融、贸易虽然还离不开美元，不过终结“美元时代”的呼声已经频频出现。这一波“次贷”引发的全球性金融危机，充分暴露出单一主权货币作为国际储备货币的弊端。美元作为国际主导货币，从二战后替代英镑后的60年历史看，路已越走越窄。当美元开始显露没落的迹象时，正是人民币开始崛起之时。很明显，美国施展贼喊捉“贼”的伎俩，无非是借中国“操控”货币汇率为由头，拿中国“说事”，以达到压制中国“军事、经济威胁”的卑劣目的。

　　以“美元霸权”打击它国经济，同时为保卫美国利益，美国更不惜以军事霸权为后盾。长期以来，美国始终保持着对盟国领先十年的军事优势，它有一支远远超出保护本土所需实力的的国防军，目的就是为远征世界，保卫美元霸权。因此，需要告诫世人的是，挑战美元霸权，终结美元时代，不会仅仅局限在一场货币战争中，也不可能凭一场货币战争就能让美国屈服。美国为维护美元霸权，完全有可能打一场远远超越货币，超越经济的保卫战。二十世纪人类爆发的二次世界大战都为争夺殖民地市场而战，今天或未来如爆发第三次世界大战则完全有可能因挑战“美元霸权”而起。看看美国近年对科索沃、阿富汗、伊拉克等的出兵，表面看是反恐，实质都是为了保证和维护美元霸权不可撼动的地位。

　　虽然美元开始步入衰退，但“百足之虫,死而不僵”，美国凭借二大霸权：美元霸权与军事霸权仍可强悍无理地独霸世界。美元霸权为美国的军事霸权提供了经济基础;美国的军事霸权又为美元霸权的全球横行,提供强势保护,誓死捍卫美元霸权,美国将不惜一战. 同时，世界货币体系的改革已不仅是一种呼声，而且更是不争的事实。2000年欧元的诞生，就注定了其与美元间的分庭抗礼甚至挑战关系。如今，人民币国际化的步履又开启，区域货币的崛起无疑对传统美元霸权都是一种挑战。通过此次金融危机，通过对美国及美元霸权的分析和认识，我们更可清晰地看到，中国虽然必须坚持走人民币开放之路，但人民币国际化必须遵循中国的发展思路。改革初期不加分析地强调所谓同国际接轨的思路应该休矣，因为既有的“国际轨道”实质就是美国设立的范式和美元霸权的规则，即美国和美元的“轨道”。

　　中国在开放过程中应该形成自身的人民币发展模式，形成中国的“轨道”和“模式”，要为和谐的国际金融秩序铺设中国走向国际的轨道，而不是一味地依附美国及美元的轨道。当然，与美元和欧元相比，今天人民币还相对弱小，但在华尔街引发的金融危机中，中国又居于相对有利的地位，人民币保持强势是最有力的证明。中国正可以利用这个有利因素，在国际金融舞台发出强音，成为国际金融市场一股新型的力量。2009年3月G20会议召开前，中国金融“三巨头”连续发文发言，呼吁改革现有“国际货币体系”，正表露了在中国经济日益强盛的今天，人民币的崛起与振兴在国际舞台应有一席之地。而“一股独大”的金融霸权时代应该尽快让位于更加合理公平的多元货币或超主权货币时代。

　　前车之鉴，后事之师。从欧洲、日本的遭遇可见，即使是美国的战略盟友一旦触犯了美国利益和美元霸权，也将毫不留情地被美国置至死地。因此，中国无论从历史还是今天看，都永远不可能成为美国的朋友，更不会是盟友，有的只是两国间的利益。人类的外交史也无数次证明，国与国之间从没有永远的朋友，也没有永远的敌人，惟有国家利益高于一切！三十年改革开放，中国以廉价的劳动力与资源换回了大把的美元，又回流美国买了数千亿美国债券，甚至成了美国最大的债券国，但请记住：中国永远做不了美国的大股东，中美间的根本利益永远是对立的。二万亿美元外汇储备无形中已将中国与美国的利益捆绑在一起，中国应有智慧将手中的美元资产作为限制美元霸权及美国强权的武器，而不是被其所困受其制约。人民币和美元，犹如中国和美国那样，永远无法“与狼共舞”！

　　《终结美元》一书要告诉读者的是，我们相信，美元的没落会是一个漫长的过程，目前具挑战美元能量的实际上是欧元，欧元的发展，已经对美元形成逼人之势。但人民币也不可小视，她是一股新兴力量，虽然作为独立的力量尚有待发展，但却是世界货币体系中新生的最具活力的力量。人民币走出去,让美元“回家”去，“终结美元”，这是一个时代的拐点,是美元霸权的终结．国际市场期待的新时代何时来临?美元还能撑多久？很大程度看区域货币及中国人民币何时在国际市场崛起，或许人民币就是压垮美元的最后一根“稻草”！

It will be great if China introduces the new currency "the renminbi" as dollar alternative in internaional trade, it will give tough time to US and the EUROPE along with Further Strengthening the Chinese economy.

With the opening of the year 2008 Olympic in Beijing, the “Cold War” had ended. China and its Communism political ideology has successfully emerge as the winner of this highly destructive war. Tens of millions of lives have been lost and trillions of dollars of property damages all due to American aggression. Such atrocities must be compensated by the United States because it had started the “Cold War” as a mean to continue its imperialism and war time industries. Historically, Eastern Asia has always been the habitats for Asian survival and development. Americans involvements in these area during the Cold War are obviously selfish aggression. Taking away of Asian lives by Americans could only mean genocide. To fully understand the history of the 20th century or beyond, we must understand the political system in China.

“Freedom of speech” may sometime be necessary to prevent and avoid unnecessary political transformations which will cause more harms than good to our world. With depleting natural resources and damaging Environment, the entire population of this planet are currently surviving on borrowed time. We don't need any more wasteful changes. For China to be successful, we need new ideas for improving our world through governments and their policies. Emphasis should also be put on how to guide other nations toward gradual adoption of Communism into their own political systems. In short, "Communism" and My version of “Revisionism” must be made very sacred.

There were little or no “politic” before the American Revolution for their independence from England in 1776. Monarchies as “political” leaders or alternatives were without political ideologies but the personalities of those monarchs which would dictate their government policies. We should all agree that politics or ideological difference of governments are really myths or deceptions. Its sole purpose is to overthrow or replace an existing government or political party. After such political transformations were completed, politic in those nations should become obsolete. As its replacements, there should only be constant but gradual improvements of the existing “political” framework to fit the need of their citizens. Frequent elections at all levels will be extremely wasteful, time consuming and inefficient.

The United States used its own politic ideology as a deception during the Cold War to diverge attentions from its internal unrest since its Civil War. The process of mandatory and scheduled political changes even through elections are unnecessary because they always create instabilities. Since the Cold War had ended in 2008 with China's victory, the entire world should follow the path of a careful and gradual transformation into Communism. In fact the U. S. is currently embracing their own version socialism. There should not be any more blood sheds, destruction of property and waste to initiate anymore political changes.

To begin My discussion, I should point out that it is extremely foolish for any Chinese to say that China should adopt any foreign political ideologies into its own government. China is perfectly capable of reinventing any foreign ideas and makes them part of Communism. Beside, more than 100 millions Chinese, your relatives or mine, might have been dead to bring about Communism's final success.

I have just discovered how ignorant most foreigners and some Chinese from the mainland are about Communism. Most of them always insist on blaming their government for all their bad experience and fail to realize those are Americans deceptions to mislead them into opposing their government. Chinese rarely remember the contributions from their leaders but blame their own faults on their government. I guess in a way most Chinese have been misled by the above misconceptions from outside democracy thinking if a nation is democratic and have voted for the election of their leaders then they will have full control of the government.

In a given planet, there can only be one nation who can truly be democratic and independent at the same time. All other nations can either be undemocratically independent or seemingly democratic but were controlled by another stronger nation which in most cases is the United States. The leaders of those small nations are nothing but puppets with no choices but to follow American orders. This is the reason why the U. S. is so anxious in converting other nations into “democracy”

Communism or my own “revisionism” is the perfect political system without outside interferences. For it to work perfectly, citizen must be relatively well educated, unselfish and well trained. My own interpretation of “revisionism” as being a political system which can be easily refined and improved. More importantly, we need an extremely long foresight to be able to look into the very distant future and not restrict short term gains. China had survived the latter therefore should be posed to become successful. People of a communist country must also be able to take sacrifice and not operate totally on profit. The failure of PRC's communism at its early stage were simply due to American embargo and boycott in many different areas such as commerce and technology transfer.

Today, most Chinese can still not fully understand the meaning of communism, still refuse to accept the fact that their leaders are also one of them. In reality their leader's belongings can also be shared and whatever that leader does is not only for his own good but are for other citizens also. This is the exact opposite to U. S. chief executives who functions exclusively for their own personal gain. They work only for the sake of being reelected and remembered in history. The minute their terms are over, they will be long gone and left behind mountains of unresolvable problems. In fact, it is their duty to be gone and to be relieved after their terms are over.

To put it very simply, Chinese must begin to treat their leaders as their parents. They are very harsh, domineering and prone to make mistakes but somewhat responsive, naturally caring and they are permanent. Again, you should always remember that any social improvements toward perfection today will be limited by depleting resource and damaging Environment. Communication within the world's biggest Chinese bureaucracy is difficult. If a better system can be established for leaders to give more attentions to their subordinates. With renew respect and trust from its citizens, China could be the ideal government in world history. Confusing as this may be, but before China and the world can progress further, they must fully understand their own situations.

What kind of question is that?

China has been around for anyone who can remember, under different names though, Han, Tang Ming to Qing Dyanasty. When was the last time China has saved anyone?

The Great, Righteous, Glorious CCP has saved China, not once, but three times, to say the least - from Japanese, from KMT and from Counter-cultural revolution.

China may very well sink or simply vanish from the face of earth, as a meager cost for CCP to move onto the higher calling to save the world.

Everytime CCP re-emerged, from self-destructive cleansing campaign, again as a stronger party than before - the long march, the YanAn party cleansing, the 1957 anti-rightiest movement, the Three Red Flags, the Counter-cultural revolution - in no time CCP is now in the driving seat of the world economy. The some 80 million died under the CCP leadership is nothing more than a inside joke amongst the true CCP members.

As long as CCP stay on track with the party philosophy of 'flushing out the best, sucking in the worst', soon the world will be too small for CCP to take over. Then the galaxy, and the universe. This is simply unstoppable China tsunami.

In Order For China To Be Successful, Chinese Must Make Sacrifice

In order for China to be successful, all Chinese must make sacrifice. I, Myself as Prophet of Environment has made the most sacrifice. Don't forget that the Uighurs and many other tribes in Chin's Xinjiang region or elsewhere, like gypsy, are only nomads. The Uighurs are really aliens believing their loyalty should be completely devoted to Islam. Their loyalty are neiher to China nor the Chinese government. Due to rumours and false propaganda from Islamic terrorists, the United States and their allies, Uighurs felt that they have been ignored by the Chinese government and want to share China's current "growing prosperity" without any contributions to its success. Most of you should already know that prosperity in China is really just a myth. Many Han Chinese people are currently suffering due to exploitation by private industries and businesses. Many laborers work much longer work hours for only slightly higher income. Some were not pay for their work and were cheated by crooked employers. Many other Hans are unemployed. While many of those Han Chinese were willing to take those abuses from their employers with cooperation and without complains for the good of the country, many ethnic minorities were dissatisfy for their already improve living standard.

Among some of those minorities are the Uighurs. While China is already kind enough to let them pass through Chinese land as nomads, they still do not appreciate but continue to create chaos. If they are causing anymore troubles they might as well get, the hell, out of China. The Uigurs should now go to other places if they feel left out when the growing prosperity of the Han leaves them more alienated. By definition as nomads, they simply don't belong to any country. China should expel all of them ASAP! Protests and riots will create too much damages to natural resource and Environment therefore must be stopped immediately. Also, go to Hell will those false Western propaganda and wicked American journalists.

In order for China to be successful, all Chinese must make more scrifice and stop complaining. By now, all of you could easily see that the entire China with more than 1.3 billions people even when they are all combined have no match to My Great intelligence and Power. Even the entire world has combined, they still cannot challenge Me. I always have the perfect solution for the most difficult problems. I am the indisputable leader of China and the world. As Messenger and Prophet of Environment, I roll the dice and make all judgements and decisions. I am the only person who can save this world. It has been a historical fact that CCP has done more than its share to save the world, not just China, at any cost.

Beijing is walking a tightrope by trying to offset the collapse in exports – almost 40pc of GDP – with an investment blitz in roads, railways, and industry through state-owned companies.

The real economy cannot absorb the money, so it is leaking into asset speculation. The central bank estimates that 20pc of fresh credit has ended up in equity markets. The Shanghai index is up 80pc this year, though profits have fallen by almost a third. The pattern echoes the final phase of Japan's Nikkei bubble in 1989.

Andy Xie, a leading consultant, said China's boom was a "giant Ponzi scheme" that was likely to "bring very bad consequences" for the country.
"The stock market is in a final frenzy again. The most ignorant retail investors are being sucked in by rising momentum," he said. Equities are overvalued by 50pc to 100pc.

Considering the current situation, it is widely debated that CAN CHINA REALLY SAVE THE WORLD.

Chinese GDP continues to grow near 8pc, this is based on output. In the West, GDP growth is based on spending. These two definitions are chalk and cheese.

The underlying story has not changed. The East-West imbalances that lay behind the Great Recession of 2008-2009 are getting worse, not better.
